This has become a very polarizing topic in virtually every city and province in […]

With Covid-19 forcing changes to many parts of society, our two schools agreed that joining forces would lead to both schools being able to better serve our students and deal with the challenges of the coronavirus. The schools will be combined under GFTeam Canada which means that now, in addition to world class BJJ instruction, we will be offering striking classes; karate, kickboxing and boxing!
We are cautiously excited to announce our plans for a limited re-opening of the gym on June 1st. These classes will happen back at our gym location with some modifications to how we run classes. Additionally, we will still be supporting Zoom classes for those that choose to continue classes remotely. In addition to supporting students at the gym, we will continue to watch our online students and support the development of their jiu-jitsu.
Our livestream classes have been a success at connecting our students, keeping us fit and continuing our BJJ learning but we want to make it even better. We are thinking of new and better ways to serve our students and thought what would make these adult and kid classes even better? A rolling partner.
