It is also for those parents looking for a great alternative for regular after school care, where their children are sometimes under-stimulated, unchallenged and stationary doing screen time.

Our After-School Pickup program is for children ages 5 to 14 years old.

Why should I choose the GFTeam After-School program over other activities?

In our program, your child will not be wasting time on the internet, playing video games, watching TV or just unproductively hanging out. Instead, they will be learning Brazilian jiu-jitsu techniques, philosophy, and overall lifestyle.
This helps them explore and learn skills that are found to be beneficial to their lives. A sport like Brazilian Jiu-jitsu also develops their body while having a lot of FUN.

Will my child need to compete in tournaments?

Accepted Answer

No! Students will never be pressured or manipulated to compete.
However, anyone who expresses an interest in entering a competition will be encouraged to do so. The competition provides motivation to achieve a goal; demonstrate determination, effort, and perseverance to overcome challenges; and to understand that hard work and commitment leads to a greater chance of success. If your child feels good about competing and wants to participate, we will be more than happy to prepare and support them.

How many times a week can my child to go to the GFTeam after school program?

We offer classes from 2 to 5 days a week you can choose what works best for your family schedule.

Can the After School Kids go to the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes even the days they don't participate in the After School?

Accepted Answer

Yes, once the kid is an After School student, he/she can come to any classes.

My kid school is not on the pickup list, what should I do?
