BCJJF Regionals

The BCJJF Regional Championship will be a tournament for kids and adult of all skill levels.
The Regional Championship will be held in the following formats:
– IBJJF Ruleset in Gi
– Submission Only (or Referees Decision) Ruleset in Nogi
Open to ages 5 and up, all belt and skill levels.
Kids* and Juveniles are Gi and No Gi , double elimination.
*PARENTS PLEASE NOTE – All ages are determined by year. Meaning if your 7 year old turns 8 later this year AFTER the tournament, they will still compete as an 8 year old.
Adult and Master Gi and Nogi Divisions.
Male Adult and Male Masters are single elimination.
Female Adult are double elimination.
COACHING – Mat side coaching will be permitted for kids Pee Wee III (Age 9 that year) and below. For kids 10+, juveniles, and adults, coaching will be permitted but they must stay behind the border.
Weigh-ins are held the same day of the event. Weigh ins for gi are done with the full gi and belt on. Kids are allowed a 2 pound allowance. Adults, Juveniles, and Masters must make weight or will be disqualified.
We will be using IBJJF weight classes for Juvenile and adult divisions
If you are competing in gi and no gi you need to register for the same weight class for both. You only weigh in one time and that is for your gi event. If you are only competing in no gi you will weigh-in in your no gi attire.
Blue belt and over Adults and Masters that medal in their division can sign up for the Absolute Division.
